The use of the Radbonus app is free of charge for users. Everyone is allowed to download the Radbonus app worldwide (as long as the Radbonus app is available in the app store of the country). The installed Radbonus app can record cycling kilometers worldwide. The Radbonus T&Cs must be accepted, otherwise the app can record bike-km, but no actions will be unlocked. Participation in all actions organized by Radbonus is only possible via the Radbonus app. Bike-km can be synchronized via connections with other apps and operating systems. These synchronized bike-km also count towards the actions.
In the open actions, any user who has installed the app and lives in Germany can participate. The bonuses are sent exclusively to Germany. All natural persons over the age of 12 are eligible to participate in the open offer.
For the exclusive promotions, an access code is required for participation. This is entered under the access code in the app. The associated exclusive promotions with bonuses will then be unlocked. In the case of an exclusive promotion (be it by the employer, the health insurance company, the city or a third party), separate partner terms and conditions may apply. The user must accept these in order to participate in the exclusive offer. The partner GTCs extend or override the Radbonus GTCs.
Kilometers: All cycling kilometers recorded with the Radbonus app or synced apps count towards all Challenges and towards statistics.
Cycling days: A cycling day is a day on which at least 500 m has been recorded.
Tracks: This is where the number of tracksare counted (for example, if an employer does not want to penalize those who have a short commute).
An exclusive partner can define that only trips that count for a challenge that...
Geo area:
... have the start point or end point in a defined geo-area. For example, this is interesting for employers who want to reward only the way to work. Or cities that want to incentivize trips only in their own city. In this case, the geo-data is only analyzed locally on the cell phone and immediately saved again. Again, the partner does not receive any geo-data of the cyclists.
Time of day:
... took place at a defined time of day. For example, this option is interesting for employers who want to reward only the way to work. In this case, nocturnal journeys are excluded.
Weekdays: ... were recorded on a defined day of the week. For example, this is interesting for employers with usual working hours during the week, who want to reward only the way to work. Then journeys on the weekend are not counted.
For challenges with a raffle as the goal, all users who have mastered the challenge will end up in a raffle pot. After the end of the challenge (at the latest 7 days after the end of the campaign), the winners will be drawn at random. The winners will be notified in the app and will receive the predetermined prize. The amount of prizes will be determined by the partner.

Raffle ticket per milestone:
For challenges with a milestone draw, the user has the opportunity to complete the challenge multiple times. For each time the challenge is completed, the user receives another ticket that ends up in the lottery pot. This increases the chance of winning.
Simple:
For challenges with a fixed prize as the goal, all finishers receive the bonus.
Limited Fixed Prizes:
The partner defines a limited number of bonuses. The first finishers receive the bonus. Once the bonuses are awarded, the challenge ends early.
Different prizes per milestone:
In challenges with a milestone fixed prize, the user has the possibility to get better and better prizes by reaching the different milestones. For example: 1st milestone with 50km = 5 Euro voucher, 2nd milestone with 100km = 10 Euro voucher.
Radbonus and its partners exclude all persons from the bonus distribution who use unauthorized aids or otherwise obtain advantages through manipulation in order to participate in the promotions. Radbonus and its partners are entitled to exclude individuals from participation if there are given reasons (e.g. if untrustworthy kilometers appear with the user and no clarification with the user is possible). If untrustworthy kilometers appear and there is a suspicion of the use of unauthorized aids, then this participant is automatically excluded, after unsuccessful contact with the person.
Details of the promotions can be viewed on the Radbonus website and in the app until the promotion is completed. There is no claim to constant availability in the app.
By using the Radbonus app, the user accepts the use and storage of activity-related data. Only persons who accept and have read the partner's terms of use and participation can participate in the exclusive partner promotions. This also constitutes consent to the use and storage of activity-related data. The partner's conditions of use and participation override the conditions of use and participation of Radbonus.
By participating, the participant confirms that he/she has checked his/her health requirements for participation on his/her own responsibility, if necessary with the help of a doctor, and that he/she accepts the health risks arising from his/her participation. It is recommended that all participants have their fitness for sports checked by a doctor. Persons with pre-existing conditions are advised to ensure that their fitness for sport is restored before participating.
Each participant bears the risk of personal injury or property damage resulting from his or her activities during the event. Liability for culpable injury to life, body or health remains unaffected. The organizer is not liable for damages caused by participants, even if they are a direct result of participation in the action. If claims for damages can be asserted, the liability of the initiators is limited to intent and gross negligence. In the event of intentional or grossly negligent conduct, the liability for damages shall be limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage. The limitations of liability also apply to vicarious agents of the organizer as well as third parties used by the organizer to carry out the campaign. No liability will be assumed for valuables, clothing, etc.
The action takes place outdoors. Accordingly, the use of suitable clothing and equipment is recommended. Of course, the legal traffic regulations are to be observed. The participant undertakes to observe and implement all regulations. In addition, Radbonus suggests that participants wear a bicycle helmet suitable for traffic in order to ensure greater safety.
The providers can stop the promotion at any time without giving reasons. Despite careful examination of the contents, Radbonus assumes no liability for the contents of external links, for the bonuses and the implementation of our partners. In particular, the organizer reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice for good cause, especially in the event of a breach of order and discipline or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Claims for damages against the Radbonus or their partners from a premature termination of the action for cause cannot be asserted. If the organizer is entitled in cases of force majeure (bad weather, etc.) or obliged for safety reasons to make changes in the implementation of the event or to cancel or terminate it, there is no claim for damages.
The legal process is excluded for all points. German law applies exclusively.

The app calculates the distance traveled using the smartphone’s location services and motion sensors. To do this, location services must be enabled on the device, and the app must be granted active permission to use location-based data. The calculation is triggered by manually pressing the start and stop buttons in the Radbonus app at the beginning and end of the bike ride. No location-based data is collected outside of this time frame. In addition, the app accesses the date and time.
Radbonus strives to ensure the highest possible accuracy for your rides. However, we cannot guarantee accuracy. Depending on your smartphone and available services, location services use a combination of cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS data to determine your position. If there is no direct line of sight to a GPS satellite, a device can determine its location based on the positions of Wi-Fi hotspots and cell towers (crowdsourcing). Radbonus cannot be held liable for technical errors. Additionally, to protect privacy and conserve battery life, no map matching takes place. This explains minor discrepancies in the distance calculation compared to navigation systems.
Furthermore, the app includes an algorithm that uses specific parameters to filter out rides showing conspicuous signs of a mode of transportation not permitted for the campaign. In this case, the recording of kilometers is blocked. Unusual riding behavior may, under certain circumstances, trigger a negative alert from this algorithm. Radbonus cannot assume any liability for this. You are welcome to report any erroneous readings to Radbonus.
To participate, record your cycled kilometers with the Radbonus app. With these cycling km, you automatically participate in the challenges described above. Great bonuses await you!
